Bill Weisman has been a working member of the Los Angeles Film and Television community for over 15 years, working in a number of capacities while staying abreast of new and progressive industry technology. His experience includes a span at Wexler Video as one of the top sales agents for the equipment and technology provider. This is where Bill was first introduced to Hi-Definition in 1995 and has never looked back. Following Wexler Video, Bill served as V.P. of Digital Filmmaking and New Business Development at Moviola Digital, a production & post-production service organization based in Hollywood and New York.


Bill formed a 24p/Hi-Definition production and consulting company in 2000, he has consulted, produced and post produced numerous award winning HD features and short film projects. Television projects include "Hotlines" a travel adventure series featured on Spike TV and HDNet and “Ghost Encounters, The Queen Mary”. His responsibilities range from researching and acquiring cutting edge solutions for Film, HD and DV filmmakers, to working as a Producer, Post Producer & 24p/Hi Def Consultant on a wide range of theatrical and television projects.


Early on Bill discovered there is a dearth of education in the Hi-Definition community and created “HD 101”, Hi-Def education classes that he teaches in association with HD Expo (www.hdexpo.net) designed for the Producer, Line producer & Post Producer as well as speaking at seminars and panels on digital technology around the country for the DGA, NAB & IFP to name a few.
